C. Chi-Yoon Chung
C. Chi-Yoon Chung (Korean-American) is a talented Emmy award-winning editor turned director. She has directed episodes of TV that span a wide range of settings and tone, such as is THE CLEANING LADY for Warner Bros and Fox, THE ROOKIE for EONE and ABC, PROMISED LAND for ABC, FIRE COUNTRY for CBS, and SURFSIDE GIRLS for Apple, all to outstanding feedback. In her lifelong journey as a storyteller, she has worked with exceptional showrunners and directors including Danny Strong, Ryan Murphy, Liz Friedman, Kevin Williamson as well as her mentor, Liz Friedlander. In addition to her work on “Feud: Bette and Joan,” Chi-Yoon won the Emmy for editing FX’s AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE PEOPLE V. O.J. SIMPSON for the episode “The Race Card,” directed by John Singleton and was also nominated for her work on “Manhunt” in “AMERICAN CRIME STORY: THE ASSASSINATION OF GIANNI VERSACE” and Hulu’s “Black Box Warning” on DOPESICK. Chi-yoon has transitioned to directing full time.
